At 7.40am, 18-year-old Amy Darcy gave birth to her first baby, a 7lb 6oz little girl named Eloise, accompanied by partner Mark Horwood, 35, of Guisborough.
Proud parents Leanne Watson, 23, and Daryl Davison, 24, also welcomed their third son into the world, a 9lb 9oz brother for five-year-old Lewis and 19-month-old Max.
Leanne, of Billingham, said: “He was going to be Harry but now we’ve seen him we don’t think he looks like a Harry, so we’re going to have to have a rethink!”
It was a first baby for Naz Alghafare, 29, and her partner Ghanem Said, 33, of Middlesbrough. The healthy 7lb 11oz baby was also yet to be named.
