California Home to Some of the 'Most Miserable Cities'
Forbes annual list of America's most miserable cities is out and unfortunately California is well represented.
No Bay Area cities made the cut but several surrounding zip codes were chosen for their level of violent crime, unemployment, foreclosures, taxes, home prices and political corruption.
Miami was voted the most miserable city in America, in large part due to its foreclosure crisis.
Sacramento was the most miserable city in California, coming in at No. 5. The possibility of losing the lowly Kings of the NBA is cited as one of the reasons for the residents miserableness.
Last year's most miserable city perked up a little bit but Stockton, Calif. was still not able to escape the dark clutches of Forbes lowly list.
The central valley city was dishonored for ranking as one of the nation's six worst large cities for unemployment, foreclosures and violent crime.
