Sacramento Children's Home Guild. One of the perennials in crab feed season is the fest sponsored by the Children's Home Guild. Feb. 18 is the 2012 version at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma St., Folsom. Doors open at 5 p.m. for cocktails and no-host bar. Dinner will be at 6:30, with a live auction and raffle 8 to 11. The silent auction will run from 5 to 8:30. Michele Kane will be emcee. Single tickets are $50; $400 for a table for eight. Fee is $2,500 to be a grand sponsor; for an admiral's table, fees range from $800 to $900; captain's tables will be available from $650 to $750. Instituto Mazatlan Bellas Artes. The carnitas fundraiser will be noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 12 at the new Studio 4300, at 4300 Stockton Blvd. Tickets are $6. Raffle prizes will include items from Zócalo and La Terraza. The carnitas will be supplied by area restaurateur and IMBA school founder Yolanda Colosio, who owns La Terraza.
