TV anchor to talk about whales bookTeachers College of San Joaquin will present "A Conversation with Stefanie Cruz," featuring the Fox-40 news anchor and producer who is also a children's book author.
The event is at 5:30 p.m. today at Burwood Auditorium in the Wentworth Education Center, San Joaquin County Office of Education, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton.
The public is invited. Doors open at 5 p.m. and seating is limited.
Cruz will talk about her career as a journalist as well as experiences related to the world of education. She will also talk about her children's book "Delta and Dawn: Mother and Baby Whales' Journey," which is based on the two whales that traveled up the Sacramento Delta before returning to the Pacific Ocean in 2007.
