Stockton mom pleads for daughter to return home
STOCKTON - Holding her elbows and shivering in the cold, Cynthia Singkeo pleaded for her 12-year-old daughter Pebbles to return.
"I just want her to come home," Cynthia Singkeo said. "I love you. Just let me know you're OK."
Pebbles, who has been missing since leaving her mother's apartment in the 700 block of East Hazelton Avenue Sunday evening, is considered at-risk because of her age, said Officer Pete Smith, a spokesman for the Stockton Police Department.
"At this point, we don't believe a criminal act has been committed or foul play is involved. We believe we're dealing with a naive young lady in an unprotected environment."
Pebbles' information has been put into the national database of missing and exploited children, Smith said. He urged anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to call the police.
"Even if you feel like you'll be snitching on her, please call (209) 937-8377," Smith said.
