Drive-by shooting injures man, 19, in Bradenton
Manatee Sheriff's deputies have not made any arrests in the 2 a.m. drive-by shooting that left Desmond Bryant with a bullet wound in his right leg, according to a report.
Bryant was the front passenger of a car, which deputies located on 31st Avenue East near where the shooting occurred outside a Circle K in the 3000 block of Ninth Street East.
Bryant was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for treatment; he is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect vehicle left the area east on 30th Avenue; its make and model are unknown, the report said.
Gun violence has affected both Manatee and Sarasota counties in the past month.
